So tonight my wife picked up a clicky-turner ring from my Mechwarrior: Age of Destruction starter and described it as my "magic ring of dorkness". I'm not really sure how to feel at this point...
My wife is progressively gained interest in the hobby aspect of miniatures. She broke her engagement ring in the garbage disposal last week and actually grabbed the same clicky ring and put it on and said it could be the place holder until I can fix her ring! :) My son had dumped a huge box of MW from my fanatic days as a WK envoy and when the ring tumbled out she said "oh, what's this?!" HAHA! Maybe it's her first step towards Dordom!
Aha! If she's taken enough of an interest to comment on your magic ring of dorkness, it's only a matter of time before she too joins to dork side of the tabletop!
That's quite clever - is she a gamer?
ReplyDeleteSadly no... the games bore her. She does like painted minis at least.
ReplyDeleteMy partner is the same; she is mystified that I spend time "painting little men"!
